At the beginning of the last decade, SBTRKT helped define the sound of post-dubstep with his debut album. His futuristic production also propelled the careers of Jesse Ware and Sampha. However, he disappeared for several years after that. In May, “The Rat Road” will be released – the first full-length album from the masked producer in 9 years. Just listening to the single “Bodmin Moor” is enough to be sure that Aaron Jerome is still in great shape and is charting new paths for British bass sound. SBTRKT will perform at the FEST Festival on Thursday, August 10th.
