Charlie Cunningham’s story is touching on its own. Despite dyslexia, which almost entirely prevents him from reading sheet music, the Englishman completed his music studies. But even more touching are his melancholic songs, which he wrote while working at London and Oxford bars. Now, he mainly frequents the most famous concert halls in Europe – on stage, not behind the counter. “Frame,” his third studio album, came out at the end of March, and the lead single “Shame I Know” is a composition that reconciles fans of acoustic folk with those who love James Blake’s work. Charlie will perform at FEST Festival on Thursday, August 10th.
